El gobierno de Singapur, a través de la Agencia de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo Convocan al curso de capacitación denominado Urban Conservation - The Singapore Journey que se llevara a cabo del 29 de enero al 2 de febrero de 2018.
El Gobierno de Singapur ofrece una beca que cubrirá los gastos de hospedaje, alimentación y transportación local de los candidatos que resulten aceptados, así como su seguro médico y los respectivos costos académicos. El formulario para postularse como participante debe de ser entregado en la Dirección General de Cooperación Técnica y Científica llenado a máquina y firmado por el postulante antes del 15 de diciembre de 2017.

Cluster Description
As we modernise and develop, it is all the more important to protect our cultural and natural heritage. The retention and preservation of natural and cultural heritage contribute to Singapore’s economic well-being. Cities that are vibrant and dynamic have succeeded in retaining their rich heritage. It is an integral part of these cities’ urban renewal and renaissance. The Heritage and Preservation cluster shares Singapore’s experience in urban biodiversity conservation and natural heritage conservation.
Urban Conservation - The Singapore Journey - Dates TBC
Course Objectives
Singapore was one of the earliest cities in Southeast Asia to develop a conservation plan for vernacular urban heritage. This course will provide participants with an overview of the history of the conservation programme, the outcomes and current challenges, as well as illustrate the potential of urban heritage as part of sustainable development.
